Thanks, thats quite useful stuff to know! I must admit I'm a bit useless in the kitchen, but I'm trying my best to learn. Admitting iis the first step right!? I promised to cook a whole meal for my wife this weekend for the first time - very exciting! I found some really simple recipes at this website, seems to be designed exactly for people like me, which is perfect! Anyway, thanks for your tips, I'll be sure to bookmark this site to read more.

I see that you are a dog trainer, so a dog costume would be perfect for your son. Try asking a yarn shop if they know of someone who could make one similar to the one I made. The whole thing is pretty simple to make for someone who is familiar with crochet and is used to making up their own designs. Good luck and have fun!

Kaye, Thanks for the good wishes. The sellers are looking at our offer this afternoon. We are optimistic. The house is smaller than the one we have now, and we are both "collectors", so it will be a challenge. What really sold us was the yard ... some big evergreen trees and room for a garden and a playspace for the grandkids.

Having grandkids living far away is a challenge. Our move will put us closer to some, but not all, of our grandchildren, which is two bad. Maybe we'll eventually get ourselves an RV so we can go visit. Sounds as if you're doing a great job of keeping in good contact with yours. I love your intentionality!

Hi Linda - CONGRATULATIONS! I bet you're counting the seconds! :) What's hard is when you have grandkids in different states! I have half near me and half several states away that I get to visit 2-3 times a year, Lord willing. And we stay in touch a lot by phone as well as having a blast with our Webkinz stuffed and virtual animals activities for grandparents and their grandchildren. I play a great "Rock, Paper, Scissors." :) I would love to scrunch the states together a bit closer, but for now...

But I'm so excited you get to move closer. :) Keep us posted on how fun it is. :) :) :)
